Workshops & Education Summit

On February 5, HKU University of the Arts Utrecht will host the workshops and Interaction Design Education Summit at their Hilversum location. We will provide transportation from Amsterdam to the HKU.

Shuttle buses

Busses will run between Inntel hotel (the bus stops in front of Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 33), DoubleTree hotel and Hilversum. The bus ride will take 45-60 minutes.

Morning workshops, full day workshops, and Education summit

The bus will depart Wednesday morning at 08:15. Your workshop will start at 09:30.

Afternoon workshops

The bus will depart Wednesday morning at 11:15 and arrive in time for lunch. Your workshop will start at 13:30.

We urge you to be in time for the bus. The best alternative is to get a taxi to the HKU. Price will be about 75 euro.

By public transport

From Hilversum Central Station (15 min.)

Exit at Hilversum Sportpark station. Go to the platform on the other side, continue to the end and turn right. You’re now at Oude Amersfoortseweg. The faculty building is on your left hand side in about 100 meters.

From Utrecht Central Station (20 min.)

Exit at Hilversum Sportpark station. Continue to walk in the direction where the train is going along the platform. Turn right at the end of the platform. You’re now at Oude Amersfoortseweg. The faculty building is on your left hand side in about 100 meters.

By car

From Amsterdam and Amersfoort (A1)

Take exit Hilversum/Utrecht (A27) and continue along Oostereindweg.
At the third traffic light, turn left at Soestdijkerstraatweg. Turn right at the thirst street, where you see an Esso petrol station. Turn left at Waldecklaan and continue until you see Oude Amersfoortseweg on your right hand side. The faculty building is on your left hand side in about 100 meters.

From Utrecht (A27)

Take exit Hilversum and continue along Oostereindweg.
